Designed and produced with Christopher Su-Zhou.
Hexit is an interactive design project made specifically for a child of a busy single mother, as a co-designer.
The purpose of the design is to help the child invite friends to her home to play and build friendships.
Hexit does not have fixed rules, which indicates children to create their own games according to their own preferences.
Hexit formed with one flexible play surface, two rollers, and two sets of magnetic pieces. One set is in mountain shape, the other is in bamboo shape.
During the game, children are free to hit the magnetic pieces with the roller, and bounce the surface with hands, in order to decrease the speed of the slider.
